I am a descendant of Rev. William Familton, Alexander Stevenson Familton, Snr. Alexander Stevenson, Jnr. Thomas Familton, & Reginald Frank Familton (my father).
I believe that Robert Familton is the father of William Familton.

I have been doing a lot of research into the Familton family following on from the information already published in the "Rock from which we are hewn".

The Familton families who settled in Iowa/Ohio are all descended from the Familton's of Northumberland, England.

Hi Val,
So this is where you posted the message you referred to in our phone conversation today.
I've dug out the book "The rock from which we are hewn", and found you in it.
Also found the letters at the back from the Tacona, Washington, Rock FAMILTON, father of the chap I've found on Facebook, and sent a message to about the FAMILTON dna project.
Having a bit of trouble identifying which Alex is the Palmerston one I was in touch with though - can you give me his number in the book please?

As discussed, the dna project, with our total of one participants, has already had an interesting match with a HAMILTON, and looking at the HAMILTON dna project that particular "signature" is a pretty small part of that project.

Will make some time soon to update the summary dna pages a bit more, particularly with some of the wanted pedigrees.
