You may be having problems finding information because from what you say she was 35 when she married charles clark. Challonor was probably her previous husband's name. That's what happened to my grandmother. My grandfather was her 3rd husband. The other 2 died. Edie

You are right that she had been married before  but she married a William Bursnall around 1829 and she had five children with him and then she had four children with Charles Clarke( at some point they dropped the E and became Clark.

I know what you mean about the different spellings though there are so many different combinations. It does make it very difficult to work out.
