In 1841 there's a Margrett Clymore with a family called Surman in Leckhampton which is in the Cheltenham district HO107 piece 353 book/folio 32 page 1, her age is given as four so slightly out but she could be worth a look at.

That Margaret Clymore is certainly a possibility although I dont recognise the name Surman  or any of the Christian names either.

I am having great problems with my ISP so may disappear.

The Sophia I saw in 1841 was living with James,Joanna, Harriet, and John CLEMO.  Her occupation was confectioner and she was 40 years old.

In 1861 she is living alone, a widowed pauper aged 63.

In 1871 she is lodging with Sophia GEORGE a widow and her children.  Sophia CLEMO is aged 72, widowed with no occupation.

In 1851 she is with her husband William Clemo and children at the same address.  HO 107/1907/284/38

Probably totally off course but is New Zealand a possibility?  Lots of references to Clemo Clemow in Papers Past but just picked out three because of reference to England.
1882 Omata Marriage of William Henry Clemow to Elizabeth Starkey both of Brighton, England.
1917 Thomas Alfred Clemo (b 1875) found dead - had left a letter of goodbye to his brother and sister in England.
1841 James Clemo and wife on board William Bryan on list of early settlers.
