researching family name Mancktelow

Hello everyone, i am trying to find information about a family name "Mancktelow". I did a google search earlier which was "mancktelow living in england". To my suprise it came back with this website and took me directly to a page that was filled with post's from people directly or indirectly related. I immediately joined this website but unfortunately do not know what i am doing??. Basically i want to get to that page again, and then be able to post my own information. I live in Australia so my response time may vary. Please help if you can. Thank you

Hello - and welcome!

There are a couple of things you can do - either use the Search facility at the top of the page, or add your surnames to the Surname Interest Table at the bottom of the page - or both!

You could start your own topic too - just go to the relevant county board and start a new topic.

I recruited the original Mancktelows to Rootschat at a BBC Family History event and I know they come back from time to time to check on posts.

Have a read of the Beginners board for tips and hints but if you get stuck just ask for help - that's what we're here for!

I have PM`d you....for some reason I was told off for posting the site I have sent you ...that was on British - Genealogy ..not on here ...so to be safe ....good luck....could you let us know if this site was any good...there are 20 familytree results for Mancktelow.....allan

ADDED....unless that`s you on the said site , you are in luck...if you click on the green tree on the right hand side the lady who has the Mancktelow family tree has written her postal address...she lives in Tonbridge,Kent.....I am curious now...I hope this is a great find for you...allan ;)
