Looking for help Henry Hill b 1816 had sisters Eleanor b 1812 Sarah b 1816, father name Rowland and mother sarah married about 1811, looking for any infro. Henry married abt.1840 in Ireland i think.

Henry Hill appears in 1851 still in Barnes:
HO107/1605/485/10
Henry Hill/30/Servant out of place/Barnes
Anna/21/Labourer/Ireland
Richard/8/Barnes
Rowland/5/Barnes
Mary/2/Barnes

Henry appears in 1841 in Barnes but with wife Margaret aged 20 also born Ireland.
There's a death for Margaret Hill:Dec.1847/Richmond S/4/378
Richmond was the Reg.Dist. for Barnes.
I can't find a marriage for Henry & Margaret but here's the birth of son Rowland:
Rowland George Hill/Mar.1844/Richmond/4/595 which will give mother's maiden name.
1861 census has Ann born Cork,(RG9/461/125/33)
by 1871 Henry & Ann are in Richmond Workhouse.(RG10/869/169/8)
1881 still in the Workhouse (RG11/845/167/7)
1881 Ann in lodgings (RG11/846/118/25)
1891 Still there now widowed (RG12/341/123/8)
All census info. has him born 1820,occ:garden labourer.

 Thanks for your infro , could not find Margarets death date or anything on Rowland other than 1851 census listed as a 5 year old ,dose not appear in 1861 census. Henry and Margaret had a son Richard b 1843 he come to Australia 1875 d 1894 Brisbane he married a Harriet Blackwell abt 1866 i think, cant find this infro, could be in Wandworth area.
any infro would be greatfull.

 been looking through some notes waiting to comfirm, I have a Henry Hill marrying  a Margaret Henderson in Diocese of Mearth,Leinster Province Ireland 1841 from LDS family research, but havent been able to confirm. If any help.

I noticed Rowland missing in 1861,this is probably his death:Dec.1851/Richmond/4/328.
The marriage info. is an LDS member submit not extracted from the records so has to be viewed with caution,that doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong.You could try the Ireland board & see if any one can look it up for you.Unfortunately it doesn't give a date & as Henry was in England by March 1841 it would have to have been very early that year.
I would say the Marriage you have for Richard is correct as they appear in 1871 then disappear obviously now in Oz.You would need to get the birth cert. for one of the children to confirm this.
There are 2 in Wandsworth 1867:Edith Harriet/june/1D/456 & Edith/ Sept/1D/493.For obvious reasons Edith Harriet looks the most likely.You can order the cert. & specify the mother's name & if it isn't her they won't charge so much.

Hi jim thanks once again ,the shipping records show edith hill aged 7 in 1875 when they came to oz.Her d/cert lists edith ellen mary hill b wandsworth 1868,.d 28/6/1920 brisbane. Query is there d/cert for first edith b1867 ,as a harriet was b 1873 I have a couple of replacement namesakes  for early losses.

There's one death for Edith Hill/Wandsworth 1867 aged 0 but this could be one of the others born that year.Now you've given the extra info. I think this is her birth:Edith E M Hill/June 1866/Wandsworth/1D/631.Ages on death certs. aren't reliable as this is given by the informant.
A birth in this period would make her 4 in 1871.
You really need Rowland & Edith's birth certs. in order to establish Margaret & Harriet's surnames.
