Hi,

 :)

Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't Holbeach in Lincolnshire, near Spalding?

Perhaps you might get a better response on the Lincolnshire board.  If you ask I am sure one of the mods will move the post for you.

I don't know about Holbeach, but there was a Francis BEMROSE married Jane DICKINSON at Hagworthingham in 1796 and was buried there in 1839 aged 71.

In marriages, Bimrose's outnumber Bemrose's 6 to 1 in both East and West Elloe deaneries 1700-1837, but in neither deanery (Holbeach is in East Elloe, and obviously West Elloe is the adjacent deanery) is there a Francis/Frances marrying at any time in those 137 years.

Long Sutton is is East Elloe deanery http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LIN/Deans/east_elloe.html
Spalding is in West Elloe deanery http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LIN/Deans/west_elloe.html
As previously stated, no Francis/Frances Bimrose/Bemrose marriage listed between 1700 and 1837.
