What are the names
There aren't alot of DUCK's but they are scattered around the lower north island.

My husband's great grandparents are Thomas Duck and Jessie Duck (Urquhart) and Jessie May Duck is his grandmother who married Phillip Henry Richardson 1911 in Wellington NZ

In 1893 Thomas and Jessie are in the Wairarapa electorate
Is Thomas Thoams HEnry V is residence is given as Kaiwaiwai a farmer

In 1896 they are at Kilbirnie (Wellington Subs Supp 2) Thomas a carter and JEssie domestic duties.

Are you near a library in NZ? They should have later years of rolls.(and directories)

1893 there is also a Thomas H V a carpenter, upper hutt

Its not unusual for people to be in more than one electorate..so could be a red herring

1881 Thomas HV is at Fetherston, a farmer in the Wairarapa south electorate
