Thomas Neale, 1771-1828, Notts

Just wondered if anyone could provide the answer as to where Thomas Neale, born about 1828, who married Jane Parkinson at Wellow, Notts on 29 Apr 1819 was born? And who his parents were? From researching a niece of Jane Neale nee Parkinson, Sarah Ann Neale, who appears on an 1841 entry for Bawtry, I believe he had a brother called Robert.

Interestingly, Robert Neale, is listed as of independent means, and his wife an annuitant in subsequent entries, as are some of his daughters.

I wonder if there is some connection with the Neale's of Tollerton, including Pendock Neale?

As I have a Mac, I can't currently use the Notts FHS Parish Records to solve the riddle myself, so here's hoping more seasoned genealogist's may be able to help!

Have you got the right date for his birth ?  He can't have married in 1819 if he was born in 1828!!

Do aplogise, I should have been clearer, he was born about 1771, and died about 1828, I got this information from a similar site in which someone posted information from Bawtry parish records, about Jane Neale's death at age 100. Thanks, Mike.

I should have gone to spec savers, I spotted the heading 1771 - 1828 after I posted.

I have checked the Notts FHS CD and can't see anything for Thomas Neal / Neale around that time.  Have you seen the original entry of the marriage ?  Just wondered if there were any clues on there.

No I haven't seen the original entry for the marriage unfortunately, I gleaned this bit of information from the IGI index. Out of interest is his brother, Robert Neale (b 1786 ish) mentioned? From what I've worked out he married a Francis Maria Rennie on 21 Jun 1817, and there is a mention of a christening of a Robert Neale at Langer, Notts on 23 Apr 1786, but again I'm unclear as to whether this is one and the same person. Only information I have about this Robert Neale from London Marriage Banns is that he was from the town & county of Nottingham. Thanks, Mike.
