This Henry HEDGES Married Rose Ann Carter, Is Henry 1871 the son of William HEDGES 1832 and Eliza Clark 1834.

so we have two cousins marrying same quarter in the same area .... I wonder if it could possibly be the same day!!!!!!!!!

Here we have an Error.
I think we  have assumed that Charlotte HEDGES is the daughter of Elias Hedges and Alice Reynolds.
When in actual fact there are 2 both born in 1874 Williamand Eliza also had a Charlotte and they lived in Medway, where this marriage to George BROOM took place.
I therefore think the Marriage to George BROOM is to the Charlotte HEDGES daughter of William HEDGES and Eliza CLARK.
This would mean the brother and sister married at the same time not the cousins. Opps
The certificates are on the way so we should know in about a week.
If I'm right who did Charlotte daughter of Elias Hedges and Alice Reynolds marry.

       Just a thought , probs nothing to do with it but have we seen this Charlotte born

about same time in 1881? Parents Charles and Charlotte

Also on same page is a James and Maria, cant read occs though

Good morning Sue, good to see you.
I'm pretty sure Charlotte is mine and sister to Henry HEDGES making them both children of William and Eliza. That would also explain why they are in the same place marring at the same time. Brother and Sister and a Double wedding. I couldn't Find the marriages on cityarc and wondered if there was a Registrars Office at that time.
Certs should arrive next week so will know then

in law b 1854 from Herts and her 2 children. All the Penfolds are b Kent.

How can a Penfold have a daughter in law with the surname Hedges surly it shouldn't it say her name is Penfold. Try as I might my head won't compute it.Ahhhhh
