back ...I found jeremiah Hedges and sarah Ann on one census ...will try to find them

I realise this could also come under Buckinghamshire as well, though.

I found the marriage of the other couple ...quote from pages back;
Jenny ...re the marriage of Jeremiah ...the other man on the page was a Sidney Eaton

I have found Sidney Eaton , b 1849 with wife HARRIET in Romford , Essex on the 1871 census ...

so if Sidney Eaton = Harriet Tanner then Jeremiah Hedges must = Sarah Ann EASTWOOD.

okay I wonder if we can find sarah Ann EASTWOOD b c 1856 Eltham and see if we can connect her to the other Eastwoods we have.

 I have Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837 ) Winsor wont be on here but is it worth me doing

 a search for these families do you think

 Not sure they would be in this area though

Yes, she would have been 14/15 when she married... that's why I thought that birth registration for 1856 was the wrong one but now it seems it's the right one.

Unfortunately that particular record is very faint and you cannot see the registration district.

Ah, if only you had later records, because my Stevens were from Oxford.  However, it seems they moved from Buckinghamshire.  I may message you privately though with some look-ups.
