No travellers in our family, no.  There is rumour of Horse Dealers on my mother's side... possibly linked to the Housdens of Saffron Walden but we're not really sure.

I'm just helping out because I wanted to.

I shall look into those names.  Most of my family are not from Wiltshire but London, Surrey, Essex and Cambridgeshire.  I don't know of Watt but there are many Watts in Wiltshire and Hampshire.

ooo i think I will colour code each of the brother's families .... all descendants will be according to the colours

James HEDGES = RED
William HEDGES = Blue
Job Hedges = Green
Thomas Hedges = Purple

now we can refer to them as eg; Red Charlotte as opposed to blue Charlotte etc
Travellers = Penfold, Orchard, James
Devon = Middleton,  Waterfield, Adams, Clark/e, Gould
Cornwall = Palmer, Carnarton, Slack/Smith. Morris/h
Wales, New Quay = James, Evans

Hi Deb
I said you was brave didn't I. It's so good to see you back.
Really pleased to hear you found a relative, thats always special.
I will have to go have a read of the Cornwall thread. At least I will if I ever get these HEDGES etc. sorted.
Oh my I have opened a can of worms.  ;D

James I can't find a death Registration for the first Ester ARNOLD listed and am considering that there is only one Esther and that  she was christened twice. I have heard of this happening before.
I am wondering if they had another child christened on the same day and had both done. Perhaps a check on cityark for both. I will go see what I can find.
