My grt grt grt grandad Daniel Price (1817) lived at Bedford Head Yard  St Georges Bloomsbury for many years.

Can anyone give me any idea of the whereabouts (not that it'll be still there) Was it a pub ?

The location was "BEDFORD-HEAD-YARD, Upper King-
street, Bloomsbury, the second turning on
the right from No. 120, High Holbom. "
It seems to have acted as a stable yard for houses in Bloomsbury Place and Bloomsbury Square.
Disraeli lived at No 6 Bloomsbury Square and had use of the yard for his coach and horses.

Handbook of London says:
BEDFORD HEAD a celebrated eating house and tavern in Southampton street Covent garden.

Upper King St is on the east side of Bloomsbury Sq and Southampton St is at the south end, so the yard may have been used by the pub as well.

Bazalgette, but mainly not FH information.
Has written a biography of Jean Louis Bazalgette - "Prinny's Taylor"
