Google Crome
« on: Monday 01 February 10 21:25 GMT (UK) »
Has anyone tried this yet?  My son recommended it but when I downloaded it, it seems that it is a bit "too early"  It does not pick up a lot of pictures, and there are other issues which need ironing out before it can be said to outdo Outlook or Firefox.  I am by no means a computer buff, just found a problem when I was searching for something (graphic) using Crome.  It said it needed to download some patch but this patch was not compatable with Crome.  Any thoughts?

Google appears to be rather too keen to collect data on people, so I suspect that Chrome will be "phoning home" with details of my browsing habits.  So it will be a "NO" from me  :)

a no from me too....
don't like the way google passes on your geographical location to websites as default!
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

That really irritates me too, especially when all the extraneous stuff comes up in a foreign character set, in my case Greek. Their 'we do no evil' motto is wearing very thin. It's NO to Chrome from me.

I first tried Google Crome, some time ago and had nothing but trouble with it, it would not allow me to open certain windows or programmes and my computer kept coming up with unknown viruses. So it's a no from me as well.

outdo Outlook or Firefox.

By the way, Outlook is an email program rather than a browser. :)
