Has anyone any information on the Lloyd family who lived on Dickenson Road in Longsight Manchester in the 1920-30's

My Great Aunt Evaline Morton DOB 1894 married a ? lloyd  I think that's the area they were in

Hello the name doesn't sound familiar, my Grandad was Harold Lloyd a shipping clerk and his first wife was Lucy who died when my Father was eight or nine. My Grandad remarried a woman called Alice who had several children...Ivy , Jim and George are names that come to mind. My Uncle John was Mayor of Stockport in the 1990's.

The only Harold Llyod that i could find as a clerk.
Living at 29 Smith street Higher Ardwick back in 1927.

and still at that address 1929 so maybe not your man?
Have you a house number by chance? I could look to see who was head of the household for both those two years if you want?
Manchester library has directories for every odd year up to 1969, if you can get there and you could also check out the electoral roll to.

The one in Hardwick may be the one.........the family may have moved there. My Dad did say that they did live in Ardwick at one point.

Are you trying to find what happened to them or trace them further back, maybe on the census?

There is a Harold Lloyd who married a Lucy Edwards in the Chorlton district of Manchester Dec 1/4 1904, Could this be them?
