I'm from the William Dey (1827) line. I've seen the (parental) James Dey death in 1855 on the Scottish website (copyright) - with all the detail that that record shows, including names of parents, wife and names and ages of children, but even with this detail I can't get further back than that. Has anyone else more information?

I have an Isabella Petrie born 1760 on my family tree. She married James Wilson of Auchaber Huntley Aberdeenshire. They had a daughter Elizabeth.
