looking for someone called snaky cooper!!!!obvious thats his nick name.i think he may be the son of black lizzie cooper nee smith and oliver cooper but i cant prove it.his life span could be anywhere between 1875 and 1956. he lived between wiltshire and berkshire.he liked swindon and he liked hungerford.sorry thats all the info i have on him.cathayb

Hi cathy, i was reading a book online the other day which mentioned a snakey, not sure if it was cooper, i'll have a look and post back to you.

i think its in the 30s, theres lots of others mentioned throughout the book inc boswells, hearns/herons and lees with quite a few first names to go with them, might be of interest to alot of people who use this site.

hi i am new to roots chat but how can snakey cooper b black lizzes and oliver coopers son when black lizzie was born in 1892 i think snakey cooper was ernest smith brother or uncle any info on this would b great thank you

earnest smith was definately not snakey cooper as snaky was an uncle to brian grace who was selinia son,selinia being earnests younger daughter.black lizzie and selinia were sisters..we think now snaky may have been levi smith earnests younger brother but we cant be sure as yet.it is an on going enquiry
