I am a Dimmock,am looking for any other Dimmocks.
My Family as i am lead to belive came from High wycombe.
Would love to hear from anyone else who is either doing the family tree,or lasted name is Dimmock.

Hi Dee,last heard this name in 1952-54,Egypt,in the Border Regt!Was from Northumbria,sorry cant give you more.

In 1841...........(of the Counties I have access to) the Dimmocks are spread thus

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE = 1

GLAMORGANSHIRE = 0
MONMOUTHSHIRE = 0

Unfortunately I can't see the Home Counties and London and have no idea how many in Bucks

Hi - and sorry I'm not a Dimmock - but I did come across a family of them last week when perusing the Bishops Transcripts for Lymington/Pennington, Hampshire, on film in the LDS.  I noticed them because the well-known Charlie Dimmock resided in Romsey, Hants at one time and I idly wondered if this family were her Dimmock/Dymock antecedants!
