McGregor Kilbarchan

I am researching my family who lived in Kilbarchan from 1833 and maybe earlier. A John McGregor died between Oct 1863 when he registered the death of his child Elizabeth i but had died when his child Janet died in Dec 1865. His wife was Mary Williamson who died in 1914.

Does anyone have any information about this family?

Welcome to Rootschat. Have you found the family in census records yet?

I.G.I. (www.familysearch.org) lists several children of John McGregor and Mary Williamson which I'll post in case you haven't seen them-
1. Rose Anne born 4 Jan.1858 Kilbarchan
2. Mary born 12 May 1859 Kilbarchan
3. Patrick Duff born 23 Feb.1861 Kilbarchan
4. Elizabeth born 31 July 1863 Kilbarchan
5. Janet born 31 Dec.1864 Kilbarchan
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Yes thank you I had. What I can't find is what happened to John. Also his father John is a mystery.
