Hi folks,
I've found the mentioning of a death in the "The Monthly Magazine" (
Viewable online on Google Books) under "Provincial Occurances".
The death, in the 1st August 1822 issue on page 89, merely says "At South Shields" and "47, Mr. Nelless". I think it must actually be a misprint, the only burial I could find in the Bishop Transcripts in 1822 was for a Jane NELLES aged 47, known and already in my tree and would be a Mrs. not a Mr.
What i really want to know is, how did one go about getting occurrences like this printed in the Monthly Mag? Why this one above others?
