Is there anyone who could check the Bournemouth Echo newspaper for the marriage between Kenneth A. Coles and Evelyn D. P. Foord who married Feb. 9, 1948 (Marriage registered in Bournemouth). Evelyn's aunt, Edith Maria (Ayres) King came from Canada for the event, but her new married name is not known. Edith married John King in 1908, but was a widow by 1911. She emigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada about 1917 and is in the Hamilton City Directories until 1927. After that she disappears, so she may have remarried shortly after that date, or later. Since Edith attended the wedding (there is a photograph of the couple and many of the guests), there may be an account in the Society pages of the local paper regarding who attended the wedding and this may provide Edith's surname. Since I live in Hamilton, Ontario, I cannot do the search myself. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Linda Lowrey
