Smith/Dullforce Marriage lookup Please
« on: Tuesday 26 January 10 12:18 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I have been looking for the parents of a:
Henry or Harry Smith b. abt 1880 in Middlesex
England..
He married Emily Ann Dullforce b. 1882..
I have her parents and Grandparents but because
of the name Smith, I am having trouble finding his info..
I have a feeling I am going to have to buy the marriage
cert..But was hoping maybe someone here might have some info on this family or a connection to them..
Any help is welcome and Thanks
Sherry

Middlesex is a big county

Henry / Harry are common first names, esp if it could be either
as for Smith ....

you are going to have to buy that cert to get more details to stand any chance of going back!
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

I was searching with my son for a family project and came across your message. Not sure if you are still working on this topic.

My father was brought up by his grandmother Emily Ann Smith, I met her in the 1960s.  She was married to Harry Smith.  Emily had a number of daughters (3) one of whom I knew, Ena Maskell.

My father changed his name to from Smith to Dullforce on the request of his grandmother Emily Ann Smith.

If you have any specific questions that relate to this topic, I can ask my father.
