It said sister and nephew on that one.

I am getting the impression now that there may be more than 1 Holy Cross Cemetery iin Philadelphia.
This one:-

Holy Cross Cemetery (catholic)
Bailey Road & Yeadon Avenue
Yeadon- Pennsylvania 19050

There is another Holy Cross Cemetary on Longview Rd. Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

and someone wrote - there used to be one now St Mary's in 1800 S 10th Street Philadelphia ....???

This is so strange.

I had a similar experience when I started investigating. Distant relative knocked down on a Los Angeles freeway, social services handled the inquest, burial etc. because no relatives could be found. We know exactly what the paperwork says and where she should be but they say she is not there.

How about:-  www.raogk.org/pennsylv.htm - (Regal Acts Of Human Kindness)

List of volunteers willing to do a volunatary genealogical research task in Pennsylvania.  Maybe someone could take a look for you ??

No problem. Please let me know how you get on. I think I have found Catherine Loftus on another passenger list on the SS Baltic with a daughter Mary (Age 32) 1 Dec 1924. They were going to visit her daughter Mrs J Henry 822 North 25th Street. Philadelphia. The district of Ireland they were coming from was something like Bonniconl???  Does the name Mrs J Henry mean anything ?  ;D
