Help - Church in Bridgeton/ Calton?

I am going to the Mitchell library tomorrow hoping to find a relative in church records. The problem - I do not know what church.
The information I have is below:

He was married at 28 James Street, Calton in 1861 according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. I suspect this is a church address because the following marriage on the certificate gives the same address.
He lived at 114 Reid Street at the same time. His bride at 350 Main Street, Bridgeton.

In 1841 he was living at Little Street, Mile end, Glasgow.

My question is what churches would he be most likely to be a member and what information should I look for?
Any advice would be gratefully accepted

Couldn't find a church at 28 James St. 

There is a church at James St/Landressy St.  Not the right number though and probably built after 1861.

I am living right in the middle of all those addresses but the problem you have is that there were so many church's around here. I am still finding more too. some of them are listed on this site http://glescapals.com/religion.htm

In the 1913 Valuation Rolls 28 is a joiner's yard.

Until the latter half of the 20th century it was extremely unusual for a wedding to be held in a presbyterian church building. The vast majority were either at the Brides home or the ministers own home with few being held in public halls hired or made available for the occasion.

It seems that the church was called Greenhead church (Church of Scotland). Unfortunately when I visited the Mitchell they did not have records for this church going back as far as 1861.
Another dead end!!!
