Hi All,

I am looking for information on a Thomas Sinclair Born in Wilson Street, Thurso 14th Nov 1865. Son of George Sinclair & Mary Swanson. Last Info I have on him is living at 155 Parlamentry Road in Glasgow in 1917.

You mention that 1917 Glasgow, is the last information that you have. Do you have him on earlier censuses?, was he married, what was his occupation?When did he move to Glasgow?

Your Thomas died 31/03/1951 in Pollok, Glasgow aged 85. He was married to Elizabeth Jane Toner (looks like). The death was recorded by his son A Sinlcair and his address was 54 Pilton Drive, Edinburgh 5

Gail, I had no idea untill recently Thomas had moved to Glasgow. I only found that out when his name was on his mother Mary's death Cert.

:o wow davie how did you find that so quickly, I can look for the marriage cert and his son and see how i get on.

Thomas's son, Alexander Fraser Sinclair married Annie Hanley in Glasgow 1930. He died in Edinburgh 1994. Thomas had at least 2 other children, George born c1896 and Elizabeth born c1899.
