Hi
I am also looking for info on  a Zebina Jones born 1834  the only census I can find him on is the 1841. in Trevethan. his father is Abrather who died in 1843 apparently in a pit accident and then they name a mine after him His mother was Charlotte siblings were william born 1829 john 1831 Rachael born 1837 and Bathsheba born 1841 I have never found them on any other census Bathsheba end up in Middlesbrough that is in The NE of England  found her marriage to a John Howe
                                                                                             Thanks Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Had a look for your Zebina Jones - no luck.

Did find the following - might be of interest.

1851: HO107, 2449, 527, 50
Garndifath, Trevethin, Pontypool, Monmouthshire

Zebina Jones, 1812 Ironstone Mine contractor and Victualler
Ann Jones, 1815 (wife)
RACHAEL JONES, NIECE, 1838

Susanah Davis, 1832,  general servant
Mary Evans, 1830, general servant

Could be that Rachael is your Zebina's sister?

Hi
Gosh that could be Zabinas sister. never thought about them been split up after her father died Zabina is such an unusual name and Rachaels father was called Abiathon found that spelt so many different ways but they all sound very biblical Thank you for the inspiration.
