hi
hope this is what your looking for.

Margaret BONELLO      Strathmiglo      23 Aug 1854   43               OPR   OPR 457   Old Parochial Registers

if robert died after 1855 he won't be on the death index, but will be on sp that will give you his parents for sure.
all in there are 64 roberts from fife 3 from strathmiglo but they are 1731, 1732 and 1785

Hi Jac
Where did you get that info. I went to Falkland and didnt find any graves with names on but they all match my ancestors. Will need to go over there again.

hi su
the info is on the fife death index pre 1855 cd. there is no mention of an MI so a search of the graveyards would most likely be fruitless.
the info i sent is the same as you would get if you downloaded it from SP.

Hi Jacci
thanks..yes new to RootsChat. I think i have looked on here a few times but without joining.
Have found Margaret Storrars death on SP but cant find Belfrage deaths(this has been problem for a while). I gave up looking for them before and moved on to other side of family.

Hi Hirdy
I have John Belfrage`s death as 13th June 1866 in District of St Andrews,Edinburgh.
He is aged 80. Has Henry Belfrage as his Father and Alison Beath as Mother.
Hope this helps

Hi Jacci
Yes I tried variations of the names. As I said got fed up and moved on but will try again.
Robertson is the family name I was trying to trace..very common though.
On my Motheres side is Philp and Davidson.Thought Philp was an unusual name but doesnt appear to be.
Are your relatives from Fife?
