Alberta Death Lookup

Can anyone look up a death in Alberta for me? The name is Susan Hambleton and she lived in the Rocky Mountain House area. She was born in 1884 in Leek, Staffordshire, UK and emigrated in about 1948 to be with her brothers William and Henry. She was last heard of in 1963 (age 79) at the time of Henry's death in Camrose.

Alberta has no online source of BMDs.  Anyone is entitled to apply, for a fee, for a death registration that is over 50 years old.  For out of province residents it costs $40.00.

You might try this source.  If she finds an obituary it is usually $5.00.
