Hi Dee & Jenn, our charlie as he was known was born 1902 kent/surrey england, his parents were a William Julius  Lunnon and mother Amy(Harriet) Burton, does this help, also I have found that the word 'Dubbo' is connected with him, also they were twin girls born to his wife.Regards Tisha
Jenn and Tisha, there's the death of a Charles Richard aged 77 in Ballarat in 1974. Parents  = Charles LUNNON & Alice McELONE.
Ref = 12313

Perhaps Tisha can let us know if these are indeed the parents.  :)
If it is, then purchasing the image of the death certificate would reveal any names of offspsring.  :)

Is he the one born Apr,May,Jun qr 1902 registered Croydon, UK?

His full name, then, is Charles William P LUNNON.  As I said before there is a Charles William LUNNON on the electoral rolls, and now we have his full name  this person seems more possible:

1931
District of Gippsland, Subdivision of Lindenow,
Charles William LUNNON, Stockdale, stockman

There seems to be only this one entry for this name, but I do not have access to Sth Australia rolls, or to NSW until later - he may well have moved on.

No likely entries for marriage or death on NSW BMDs but births are only up to 1909 so can't find any children in NSW for him.

Cheers, Judith

Thanks for the additional information about parents, Tisha......it's helped.

He married in South Australia, but we'll find no records of the children in BMD indexes, as the marriage was too recent.

Here's the marriage details.....you get nearly as much as is on the certificate in  the South Australian Index.   :D

Charles William Percy LUNNON aged 27 and single married Florence Marion MCFARLANE aged 33 and single on 30th April 1929 at St Edwards Church, Kensington Gardens.
Fathers = William Julius LUNNON & Robert Muir MCFARLANE
Ref = Nor 319/419
