Ernest Snape Mary Louie Watt

Trying to find out any information about Ernest Snape, born 1918, was married in 1943 to Mary Louie Watt, he was a Sergeant in the REME and she was in the Land Army.
If I have his army number where would I search.

Any help very much appreciated :)

If you are his next of kin or can get the permission of his next of kin you can apply for his army record:-

They do charge a fee of £30.00 and I think there is a 6 month wait from when you apply as they are very busy at the moment.
