Chisnall in Manchester (Ancoats?) about 1800

I am trying to trace Chisnall family in Manchester - probably in the Ancoats area - before 1820.

Sarah Chisnall was born about 1820 to Ann Chisnall - I have no record of father at this stage so could be illegitimate (wouldn't ne the first in my family tree!). Ann worked for Ancoat Twist Co in 1818.

Does anyone have any information they can share with me?

Hi,

Is this the Sarah that married John Tinker in 1844 at Manchester Cathedral?  If you obtain her marriage certificate it would give you the name of her father. 

There is a possible baptism for a Sarah Chesnall on the 22nd July, 1821 at the Cathedral.  Parents were William Chesnall and Ann.  Also the baptism of Johnson Chesnall on the 8th November, 1818 with the same parents.  Johnson being with the rest of the family on the 1841 census although by then he was married to Margaret.
