Thoms 1923 shows Alfred Corlett (Boot & Clothes Dealer) at No.34 Cole's Lane  while Thoms 1952 show Mrs A.Corlett (Furniture Dealer) at No.14.
Do you wish for other Thoms to be checked?

Hi Quaxer,

That would be fantastic if you could. That would be Alice and i think she had another sister who had a shop. Alfred would be the father. Somehow one of these shops or property on coles lane ended up with my granny sweeney (her fathers sister married a corlett). She used to collect rent i'm told from one of these shops in coles lane but i dont know how to find out which one. I think Alice or her sister left it to her when they died. It must have been bought eventually by the council. An aunt of mine has told me she has the DOD of Alice so i'll try and track down a will if i can.

Hi,

It's my great grandfathers sister that i was told married a corlett. She would have been O'brien, which is my grandmothers maiden name. Does that name mean anything to you?

Just one other thing, Alice (that i believe is my great grandfathers sister), married to Alfred also had children called Alice and Alfred. Thought i'd mention in case you are looking at a different generation.
