Edwards - Hulse, Children?
« on: Saturday 16 January 10 10:27 GMT (UK) »
Edwin Edwards married Ethel Hulse 1909 at St Trillo, Llandrillo yn Rhos.
Edwin died Feb1919 in Cologne Germany.
I'd like to know if there were any children from this marriage.
Would any children have been baptised at St Trillo, are those records available online.

In1919 Ethel was living at Bryn Graig Llangwstenin, Edwin was a groom is Bryn Graig part of a local estate?

Thanks Kyffin

Have you looked on freebmd.org.uk    After 1911 the mother's maiden name is shown in the index so you may find some children that way.

Hi Kyffin

It would be worth searching for them on the 1911 census which will give you any children b. before 1911 and then follow up with FreeBMD as Andrea suggests.

Hello Kyffin,

Are you sure that their children were born in Llandrillo, or Llangwstenin? Reason I ask is that I have tried a search on BMD and North Wales BMD both without success.

The Llangwstenin area was an estate, or estates and still is pretty well. The main historic old building, which is listed, is Llangwstenin Hall. There is a good piece on Genuki

Hello
I did look them up on the 1911 census this morning.
Its a single house sheet, I haven't seen before.
It lists Edwin and Ethel, but also lists children born, children died, children living.
Unfortunately there is one born and one died
I checked freeBMD but don't see any more children listed.
Maybe there weren't any more
Thanks for your help
Kyffin
