Scotland and Huguenot Refugees

Hullo out there!

I am trying to establish if and when there were Huguenot refugees who came to Scotland, particularly to the Black Isle area.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can start my research?

While not an expert, I found this link (it's a PDF) from the Huguenot Society, listing known Huguenot settlements outside London - seems there was a small community in Edinburgh at one time.

This probably won't help but there were alot of French in the Black Isle during the
Auld Alliance and also some in Cromwell's army which definitely got as far as Inverness.
Some stayed behind and intermarried with the local populace.
