The National Archives of Scotland.
They are classified as CH12.

The NAS only hold some of their historic BDM records.

E.g. Glasgow City Archives hold the registers for St Andrew's by the Green Episcopal Church, Glasgow.

Which church in particular?

Thanks Murray it is Balquhidder Perthshire 18th century i am looking for - long shot I know!

My Stewart ancestors are from there and I know their names and dates from another source but cant find them in the OPR births...... So thought they might be episcopal....

It is the father  of my ggg grandfather I am looking for (as well as his siblings). My ggg grandfather is Duncan Stewart b 1806 in Achra,Lochearnhead in Balquhidder parish, and his baptism is in the OPR . I know his fathers name was John  and  I know the names of John's siblings but can find none of them in the OPRs. Frustrating!

Hi Val

This list might help. I'm not sure which would be the closest to Balquhidder
