Also I noticed that you said Hugh McKinley was assigned & working at Wallalong house.

He is listed at getting his TOL there:

29879 McKinley Hugh - Ship Hercules 1830 - 1834 11 November at  Paterson - Obtained Ticket of Leave

Wallalong house was part of the estate of Dr Walter Scott who arrived in Australia as a ships surgeon in 1823 & was one of the formative Hunter Valley founders and colonists.

The historic home still stands today & is listed by the National Trust:

Looks like the John Brogan husband of Mary Ann McKinley died eight years after their marriage, perhaps she remarried?

Possible remarriage for Mary Ann Mckinley after death of first husband John Brogan.

Maybe you will find a death for Mary Ann if this is her remarriage.
