You are correct.  On all counts.  I actually was looking for more info on the band John and his members.  My Mom claims that he led the band.

Yes, I do have the Marraige Certificate. and Bessie's death Certificate.  They were married in London.      Which gives her Mothers maiden name and got me info further back.

Father's names   John Jackson mothe Agnes Patterson and Ephraim Colbourne married Prudence Colbourne.
