I certainly hope our departed relations are looking over us.

My grandfather who died a number of years before I was born was a medium and so was his grandmother.  I heard he was very good at what he did, but he never liked being in full room and would take himself off to his bedroom.  I only just learnt via a friend that people with these skills have trouble turning off the spirit voices, I wonder a few years back they would of been considered as mentally unwell?

Anyway my mother came through in a reading, the medium was very correct in details.  I did not want a future reading just a little chat with mum.  The medium also said about my grandmother and how she would also have card readings as a young women, I never thought my grandmother believed in this stuff, but my Aunt confirmed this for me.

Oh yes genealogy was also said about, and how many people I would find.  The spirits like to be remembered, and I think we have the job to do that.

I put my cousin onto the same lady, and she was totally blown away.  Her father came through, said his name, and every detail on how he met his wife, right down to the clothes and bright red lipstick.

I still question some so called mediums, some people are only in it to make money and spin a story.  But there certainly are some good ones out there, it is just finding them first.

If only I could find a Psychic or someone like that to help me out, I would do it in a flash.
I am tired of looking through everything Irish and Scottish to find the parents of my g-g-grandfather b1810 in Northern Ireland.  Particularly annoying as I have found one set of his grandparents.
I have proof of where he was born on his death certificate.

Maybe I need a little help finding what happened to my Edmund Tew who was a 16 year old convict.  Disappeared of the face of the earth, not even any Rootschat experts have traced him.
Or maybe he does not want to be found after 150 years. :(
Then again aren't we meant to be re-born after a while?

Likewise. Some of the reports here sound convincing. I have looked in my local area for people who might be able to assist in this sort of thing, but I don't like the look of any of them. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Shropshire/Powys area?

I also came across this woman. I looked into her a bit and found out she was promoting her site with spam. Not something I really associate with those who are attuned to higher levels of existence. Her offer of a free, totally unrelated and tacky book also doesn't do much for her credibility.

This is the lady I have used before.  Now she is very good but lives in New Zealand.  She does take the plastic card ;D, and has done readings for people in America.
Funny how they are all take the visa now.  I was once told a good medium would never charge!!!

Yes some are odd looking, as I said some people are not the real thing.

Kate is also a lady who can not step foot out of her front door without being bombarded with voices, so she stays home a lot.

Thanks,

My scepticism is raised due to her having affiliate links to various apparent swindles and baloney info-products.

One of them subtitles herself as a "money-manifesting expert and financial alchemist". Again, this is not the sort of thing I would expect from people in touch with higher realms of existence etc.

I will give her a try though if I can't find anyone local.

She is a little pricey now.  I do not bother too much with readings, had two done, there are spirits that get to know you well and can tell lies or say things you want to hear, or in my sisters case she try's and lives out what is said, that is not me, life has to take it's course intended.

The first lady I saw was amazing as things she said have came true, right down to a accident with a bus, (my friends 12 year old daughter was killed 3 years ago by being blown into the path of a oncoming bus :'(

I never go into the money side or anything like that, my goodness we would all be very rich from lotto, anyway I do not think the spirit world allows that kind of thing.

Kate can find things, does one answer to a question or a full reading.  One word of warning, she does get very upset easy and her work can be affected.  The earthquake we had sent her into a spin.

There must be someone local to you?  Just has to be word of mouth with finding a good one, or your local spiritual church, I know they do free readings here on certain days (local papers have dates).

Lisa Williams is coming here, I would love to see her show.  I went to some other British medium show and found him a little off key, or maybe it was the people he spoke too, they did not let any secrets out, but after the show they were interviewed and said this man was correct.

We have had ghosts in our house some years ago, and my son spoke to them quite often, I think he has the gift of his great grandfather.  It is a little spooky, and made a believer out of my hubby whom never believed in such things until he saw one himself and put his hand right through the spirit.   We had the house blessed and have lived in a happy household for 9 years, no more ghosts.  And to top it all off, with the earthquake, my son's room was the only room in the house that never had any damage.

Thanks for your further advice. I found a local spiritualist church and have contacted them.
