Hello My mother was called margaret mary flynn, from waterford ireland, moved to england approx 1945, married frank martin, as far as i am aware she had 2 sisters, that stayed in ireland.  one was called nan, the other mary. I too am short on info, but this is quite a coincidence.

I believe that Flynn is quite a common surname in Co. Waterford and that's why it's so important to have a location (parish if not actual townland) when trying to research your relatives there- even more so for partes who needs to search for any existing church records as civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages started in 1864.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Since you know the location in Co. Wexford you can start searching for sources like church records, civil index, 1911 census, etc.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Camplie town (aka Ballyvelig) is in the DED of Ballyhack and there are a number of Flynn housesholds listed there on the 1911 census : see Flynn households in Campile
