Many thanks to Cal and redkop for taking this one on board.

Just a shame that Katie who started the thread seems not to be responding at all and as gjil said it would be polite and let us know what her plans are.

If you can't make it Katie cos of work (appreciate new job etc) would be nice if you could maybe let folks know. Work is v important especially way things are at the mo.

Am assuming we'll not get to meet Katie which is a real shame but if you have to go to work then you do.

Am sure Cal and redkop will organise in your absence.

Small point but is it worth having the titlte of this thread changed as it dosn;t make it clear there is a meet in Liverpool - just a thought

Went to liverpool nearly 2 years ago, went on the shiverpool tour.  Very interesting, there's a grave you go by on the tour, you also get to the cathedrals. Cool passage way where the gravestones are in the anglican cathedral. Also went on the dock area independant of the tour when the tall ships were there and one of the yellow duckmarines got in the wrong part when the tall ships were parading.  Fortunately it was quickly sorted out. We stayed in a travel lodge.

All the places you have suggested visiting in Liverpool are very close to each other so you could possibly visit all depending on the time you have. Mind you be prepared to spend quite a long time in all the places as there is lots to see.

Don't forget Mathew st for a drink while you are there and the Cavern of course. As I say all not too far from each other.
