I will go with the flow .. I am originally from Wavertree so know Liverpool pretty well and pop ovr from Manchester quite frequently. Maybe those who live further a field may have some ideas where they would like to visit.

The Maritime is always a good bet and a ferry across the Mersey (singing the song  is compulsory of course lol) would be fun. The Anglican Cathedral and the grave yard are excellent... obviously all weather permitting. The Duck is pricey but takes you on a good tour. There is this as well http://liverpooltaxitours.com/
It is £90 for a taxi but I think they carry 5. A friend did it last year and thought it was great value for money as they had a chatty funny guy who told them loads of facts and trivia but again it maybe too much money.

Who is actually pulling this all together ?? (I am being lazy and not trailing back on the post!!)

Hi

We're all coming. Staying Friday til Sunday.

I don't want to go to Anfield. I want to see a bit of the city and of course the ferry - been practising the song!

Also we need to take into account people's mobility needs so not too far between places for those who can't walk far I think is a must.

If we're invading a pub having organised these before, always wise to book and get a menu - many will ask for your meal choices beforehand!
