Where - Liverpool or Manchester would be easiest for me, but Preston has also been suggested (not so easy for me, would prob involve overnight stay which I can't afford at the mo)
When - My original suggestion was just after or just before Easter, but May may (ahem!) also be possible
Why - FH? General touristy stuff? Just to have a good time?

Where: Would prefer Manchester or Liverpool.

When:  hmmm well May would be easier for me or the end of April.

Why: hmmm well if its Liverpool I wouldnt mind a bit of history thrown in - Family is partly from Liverpool but I dont know any of the area apart from the centre.
