Just on the off-chance someone else is researching Cassidy in Leitrim, would anyone have come across Catherine Cassidy married Francis Meehan on 3 Nov 1880, 1911 census indicates a possible birth year of 1854/5. Her Father is William on the marriage cert.

the civil index search on Familysearch isn't coming up with any realistic possibilites. hence my doubt about her listed age on the census.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Civil registration of births started in 1864- there will be no birth certificate if she was born before 1864 which is why you haven't found a birth for her in the index.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Right. Any idea of the registration district? I found several possiblities but not sure what area it would be.

Is that the townland? couldn't find anything with that name but there one called Drumanone in Co. Roscommon (Boyle Poor Law Union).

Hmmm, it may be  that William Cassidy is from Roscommon so. I don't have any more info so I'm not going to be able to make this easy for you. How many Catherine's have you as potentials. Would looking for Francis Meehan (father Thomas) help determine location

Griffith only has one William Cassidy in Carrigallen, Leitrim if that helps

Maybe the townland is DRUMMUCKER, Carrigallen Civil parish.
