Peter Bicker 1902 Ayr
« on: Friday 08 January 10 20:54 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find any info on a Peter Bicker b13 June 1902 at 221 Main St Ayr to Peter Bicker and Mary Kelly, married 21 April 1902 at Ayr
He had two sisters Ann Coleman Bicker 1904 and Elizabeth Jamieson Bicker 1906 His father divorced Mary Kelly and had 8 children to Mary Pirry one of which was also named Peter born 1923 and died 1992.
This leads me to think that the first son Peter died before 1923 But I can find no record of his death anywhere
Any help or suggestions would be welcome   Dof

I did a little looking on SP. I found no second marriage for Peter Bicker and Mary Pirry.
So I looked up the deaths of Peter and first wife, and it was interesting.

1931 Mary Bicker m.s. Kelly died Jan 8 1931 at 1:20 p.m. at 96 Kings St. Ayr 48 years old. It  says she was married to Peter Bicker- tenter in a carpet factory. Her parents were George Kelly -general lab. deceased and Annie Kelly m.s. Colvin deceased. She died from Broncho Pneumonia & Cardiac Failure. Her daughter Annie Bicker was present.

1951 Peter Bicker died at 27 Marchfield Quadrant? , Ayr 68 years old. General Labourer ( formerly married to Mary Kelly, against whom he obtained a divorce decree). His parents were Peter Bicker- carpet weaver deceased and Jane Bicker m.s. McLelland deceased. Died from Coronary thrombosis. His son Peter Bicker was present.

My curious thought is why is no second wife mentioned on death cert?

I have the info on both Peter Bicker and his wife Mary Kelly My puzzle is that their son Peter, born 13/8/1902 at 221 Main St Ayr does not seem to have a death cert that I can find. Peter (1902) had 2 sisters
His father devorced Mary Kelly and his second partner Mary Pirry (whom he did not marry) had another 8 children to him. one of which was called also Peter(1923) This would normally indicate that the first son Peter had died between 1902 and 1923 but I can find no trace of a death cert for him
It's Peter Bicker's (1902) death that is the puzzle

Sorry I misundertood, the no marriage point.
I looked on SP for Peter Bicker or Pirry born 1922-1924 and no such luck.
Where did you find the eight children?

Initially from a Bicker relative who is descended from the Peter Bicker and Mary Pirry side of the family and we made contact through GenesReunited.
He gave access to his tree and I verified the 8 via SP checks he was unaware of the son Peter (1902) but knew of his 2 full sisters

Hi Again    I do believe that the second Peter (1923) is refered to in Gros 578/01 0163 Ayr birth. Though at present it is inaccessable
