I was researching my family history when I found you post, George Hamilton was my great grandfather. I have no other information regarding his wife or his parents and would appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

His eldest son William George Hamilton was my grandfather see photo.

Did they live in Coobane during the 1901 and 1911 census in a townland called Desert.

Btw did the George Hamilton in your picture have a father called Henry and a mother called Prudence

If so we are related.

George Hamilton was my great grandfather too. William"s brother Robert(Bob) was my grandfather. George Hamilton's parents are William Hamilton and Harriet Cordner from Armagh.
