Hi and welcome to rootschat :)

Can you give us a little more info to go on please?

First- and forgive my ignorance :-[... where is naas?

What time frame are you interested in?

can you give us the full names and some dates for some of your people?  This makes lookups possible.

Welcome to Rootschat, Rachel. If you are wanting us to help you it's best to provide as much detail as possible- names, dates, places, what information you are looking for, what you've already found, etc. Just remember that details of living people aren't allowed to be posted.

Rachel, we know that Naas is in Co. Kildare and Arranroots has kindly moved this thread to that board but we do need more details of what you are looking for, etc.
The 1911 census is online (free) and you might be able to find your Curtis family there (1901 will soon be added to that site)-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search

Index to Irish civil registrations is also online free and with the index details you will get references to order certificates if you wish.
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347

Check out KILDARE RESOURCES at the top of the Kildare board for more links but generally more recent details will not be available online.

After you've checked the above sources and still need help please give us some names and dates or more details but remember not to post anything about living people.

Sorry, Rachel but dates (even approx. dates) will make all the difference as to what information we can help you with. If your grandfather was John Curtis- any idea when he was born? if before 1911 then check the link to the census that I posted above.
