I am afraid that I have very little other information but know that he had an older Brother named Charles who lived the latter part of his life in Polegate and was married to Vi (Violet?) and had one son Arthur. I undertstand that there was at least one other sibing, Rose but have no information on her.

i believe Suz has located the family so we cant find charles/annie marriage or charles birth so would it help if Martin ordered charles marriage to violet norman to see if there is more info. on there? and also charles 1907 birth?

so 1901 charles/annie are together and i think that is the same annie as 1891, then 1911 the kids are in an institution-where is charles/annie? and our original frederick moon is born 1914 which we have the certificate for so what happened from 1902 to 1911 to 1914...

do i have this right?

we are back 1 more generation side (probably once certificates are ordered) for the morrison side but not on the moon side

I have the Charles from 1901 in earlier census with parents -age differs a little -but that is not unusual


Maybe Charles and Annie Elizabeth never married

I have just done another 1911 index search, using Charles Moon and looking for other members in Eastbourne and get the following, all in institutions:

Charles b. 1847
Elizabeth b. 1873
Ruby b. 1899
Rose b. 1904
Winifred b. 1907

Unfortunately, it's not possible to confirm who is family.

Going back to your earlier post Suz, the only Ruth I can find of about the right age, is a Ruth Emily, born Sept Qu. 1898, East Grinstead. Ruby is drawing a blank.
