Update to my Reply No. 34:
Talbot Faulkner Yeates and Anne Eliza Goldrisk, mar. 1832, seem to have had at least eight children, all bapt. at St. Mary's-
1. Kendrick bap. 28.5.1834 of 26 Stafford St., buried 5.9.1834.
2. Thomas Goldrisk 1835
3. Susanna Maria 1840
4. Sophia Caroline b. 4.9.1843 bap. 5.11.43 of 33 Stafford St.
5. Frederick Augustus 25.1.47
6. Albert Edward 12.11.49
7. Louisa Adelaide 1851
8. Mary Jane born 124 Abbey St. 31.10.1856 and bapt. 13.8.56.

So far I have found no children to his second wife, Frances Daly Brown, mar. 1873.

Yeates/Sweny connection

Re: Posts 32, 33, 35-
I have now found the third grandchild of Dr. Mark Sweny and Sarah Ann, with the middle name Yeates.
George Yeates Cockburn, born  28.3.1887, bapt. 25.5.1887, Rathmines Parish Church to Henry Howard Cockburn, and Ada, daughter of Dr. Mark Sweny and Sarah Ann.
I will be in Dublin in October and will look up some BDM records etc. I hope to find the marriage of Mark Sweny and Sarah Ann Yeates about 1845.

I have been to Dublin and I am now back home.
Unfortunately I found no trace of the marriage of Dr. Mark Sweny and Sarah Ann Yeates at Braemor Park or anywhere else.
I am still convinced that Dr. Mark's wife was Sarah Ann Yeates.

I refer readers to another rootschat topic- Dublin City & County Maps.
I enquired about the location of 2 Grafton St. and we seem to agree that it was on the north-east corner of Grafton & Nassau Sts. A bank or building society now stands on the site. Many thanks to Shane for his help.

Hi

I am starting out on the YEATES. I think I have traced the branch back to George Yeates and Janes Sparks (married 1819, see irishgenealogy.ie)

I wonder can anybody help me with with his parents and link me further back?

Any help much appreciated.
