I knew Henry Berkeley Franks Dixon (1928-2008) very well. He was a distinguished biochemist and Vice-Provost of King's College, Cambridge. He was the grandson of George and Rebecca Dixon, and thus had a grandfather 110 years older than he was. I don't suppose that is a record, but it must come close.
