Where is Tullymore

Does anyone know of a village called I think it was Tullymore, May be Dublin way ?
appreciate  if someone from Ireland may know,  or anyone else, thanks.

There are 12 townlands in Ireland with Tullymore in the name (7 just called Tullymore) in Down, Armagh, Fermanagh and King's Co.

If the spelling isn't accurate Tullamore is also a possiblity.

Were you expecting this 'Tullymore' to be in or near Co. Dublin? Perhaps is you give us an idea of names and dates we might be able to find the correct place for you.

there is a Tullymore on the Electors list of Ballyshannon 1939/40 Ballyshannon is in County Donegal.  It will be a townland possible flax seed growers for the linen industry.

There were actually two Tullymores in County Down.  One is now Newcastle (where Tullymore Forest Park is), and the other was about 2 kms. north of Newry and is not in existence anymore.

Actually the park is called Tollymore not Tullymore.

Also, "the other was about 2 kms. north of Newry and is not in existence anymore." the townland still exists although road names have meant that many people aren't aware of the townland names these days.

www.seanruad shows both Tullymore townlands in Co. Down- I mentioned there were quite a few in reply #3.
