Ireland to Englamd passenger lists?
« on: Saturday 02 January 10 06:12 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone suggest sites for passengers sailing from Ireland to England between c.1840 and 1857 please?

I have James Grayley b.c.1829 in Ireland who shows up in Northumberland in the 1861 census.
He might have already been married to Ann Taylor born in Ireland c.1832 and a son Hugh b.c.1857.

Where else can I post Irish queries into Rootschat if I don't a county or parish?

Thanks for any help.

There's an Ireland-General board if you aren't sure of the county in Ireland.

However, Ireland was part of the U.K. so passenger lists weren't (and still aren't) kept of people travelling from Ireland to England, Scotland and Wales.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
